Plateau United forward Sunday Ngbede has completed his switch to Armenian club side FC Lori on a three-year deal.
Ngbede was part of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title-winning team last season and joing the Jos-based club in 2013.
The forward expressed his delight joining the newly promoted club to the Armenian Premier League.
“I am delighted to have signed with Armenian giants, F.C. Lori on a 3-year deal. I am looking forward to my first game with my new club,” reads a message on Sunday Ngbede’s Facebook wall.
“I want to also say thank you to the management and fans of my former club, Plateau United F.C. for their immense support. My new chapter begins with F.C. Lori!”
Ngbede joined six other Nigerians; Ekereuke Ekemini, Deou Dosa, Isah Aliyu, Udoh Etop, Francis Nwankwo and Uguchukwu Iwu at the club.
FC Lori currently occupy third position in the Armenian top league table with seven points from four games.
