Former Nigeria women’s under 17 coach, Bala Nkiyu has resumed his post as head coach at Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Wikki Tourists.
Nkiyu who resigned as coach of Katsina United early this year, resumed on Wednesday and participated in the team’s evening training session, according to the club’s media officer, Nasiru Kobi.
“We are almost set for the league resumption and everything is going as planned,” Kobi told Sporting Life.
“Coach Nkiyu has resumed and started working ahead of Sunday’s game against Abia Warriors. Mangut will work with him as chief coach. The old and new players have been introduced to him and we are working towards a good outing in the second stanza.”
The Tourists, who are currently second from bottom of the table with 21 points, will host Abia Warriors in an NPFL game on Sunday.
