Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has affirmed his readiness to help Las Palmas survive their relegation scare in the 2017/18 La Liga season.
Signed on loan from CD Feirense in the January transfer window, Etebo stated that he is ready to give his best for the Spanish side, while hoping he’s picked by the club’s coach.
“I’m ready to play, but it all depends on the coach,” said the 22-year-old in his statement on his new club’s website Las Palmas .
“When they are interested in you, it’s all much easier and that’s one of the reasons why I changed teams.”
The versatile player also made known his favourite position, stating:
“I am comfortable as an extreme. I came to help the team”.
“I do not care if I score or if I assist what I want is for my team to get the three points.”
“I’m ready, I’m fit, I did not come to be on the bench, but it all depends on the coach.”
The Rio 2016 Olympics star is in line to make his La Liga debut for the The Sports Union on Monday, January 5 in their clash against bottom-placed Malaga CF.
