Zinedine Zidane says he is not interested in making any signings during the January transfer window as he accepted responsibility for Real Madrid’s slip in LaLiga.

Spanish champions Madrid slipped 16 points behind bitter rivals Barcelona following Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo.

Asked if Madrid need new players, Los Blancos coach Zidane replied: “No, at the moment I do not want anyone.”

“Until the 31st [of January] we will see, but not at the moment, why? Because I am happy with my squad.”

Real Madrid are linked with Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard, Tottenham star Harry Kane and others.
