Swansea have completed the signing of midfielder Renato Sanches on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich.
A statement on the club’s website says: “Sanches has completed the necessary paperwork while away with Portugal, and will link up with his new team-mates upon his return from international duty.”
“Swans boss Paul Clement worked with the 20-year-old midfielder during his six-month stint as assistant manager at the Allianz Arena last year before his switch to the Liberty.”
Sanches was Portugal national team star as they won the Euro 2016. The 20-year-old joined the Bundesliga champions same year from Benfica following his naming as the UEFA European Championship Young Player of the Tournament.
