Ex-Nigeria international Osaze Odemwingie bagged a goal and assisted twice in Madura United’s thrilling 3-1 win over Barito Putera in the Indonesian Super League on Sunday.

Odemwingie scored in the 65th minute to register his name on the score sheet to give Madura the win.

The 36-year-old provided an assist for Nigerian-born Greg Nwokolo and Fachrudin Aryanto who scored in the 21st and 45th minute respectively before Rizky Rizal Ripora netted a consolation goal for Barito in the 54th minute.

Odemwingie has now scored 15 goals in 22 league appearances for Madura so far this season.

With the victory, Madura are now fourth with 60 points, just three points adrift of leaders Bhayangkara FC.
