Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile has joined Belgian First division B side Cercle Brugge KSV from Sivasspor.

The AS Monaco loanee cancelled his contract with the Turkish club after just five-month due to lack of playing time.

Cercle Brugge, owned by Monaco, penned a deal until the end of the season with the 30-year-old left-back.

Echiejile has undergone medical and he is expected to be unveiled as a Green and Black player in few days.

Cercle Brugge top the Belgian league 2 table with 23 points from 10 games. They will face Leuven on February 2 at the Den Dreef Stadion.
