Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has communicated his eagerness to make his second debut for CSKA Moscow in their impending friendly game against Nordsjælland on Friday.
Musa, who made a return to the Russia Capital on a loan move from Leicester in the January transfer window, spoke of his anticipation to get playing time in the test game ahead of the resumption of the Russia Premier League.
”I will be happy to play if the coach decides to use me. This will allow me even faster to play with the team,” Musa told PFC CSKA.
Asked of the role – winger or striker – he would prefer to feature for the Muscovites , the 25-year-old insisted the coach is in the right position to determine his status.
” For me, there is no difference. I already worked with this trainer, he knows where to use me the best way, I’m not a stranger for him.”
Musa also opined that he might need a week of rigorous training to get fully fit after experiencing some rustiness at the King Power Stadium due to lack of playing time.”
“Maybe I need one week of heavy training to return me to my fitness level. We’ve got a little of time to get me back to normal, there is no time to waste.”
